When John starting walking a while back, his physical therapist noticed him walking on the insides of his ankles. Without correction it could lead to knee and back injuries. A couple of weeks ago he was casted and last Thursday he was fitted with braces that fit into his shoes. He may be in these for up to a year while he gets stronger.Luckily,they don't seem bother him. His brothers want to wear them and Lauren wants to help put them on. So, for now, they're 'tool' (as Tyler says).
