My Dancing Fools

This series of pictures is what gets us through the bedtime routine. (Click to enlarge.)

The last two months have been challenging to say the least. The noise level in our house keeps going up, up, up. Lauren has found her "voice". It is the sweetest little voice until something makes her upset, angry, irritated, ...... She can yell the loudest of any little girl I have ever seen. My friend Debbie coined it her "trucker voice". It sounds like a truck horn. We're working on that. She has spent more time in time-out in the last two weeks than she has her entire life.

Time-out is a regular thing for Tyler and Austin. John has gotten there more lately. He knows the drill. Last week I told him if he didn't stop doing something, he was going to have to go to time-out. He walked over to our time-out spot on the stairs and sat down. I guess he anticipated not being able to comply.

When all four are happy our house is full of squealing, giggling, chasing, and lots of other boisterous noises. Quiet time is a premium.

These pictures show what happens at bed time.

What a great post! It looks like your little girl is yelling "TAH DAH!!!" at the end
