In the Christmas Mood

Thanksgiving at our house was full of food and noise. I think everyone had a great day. The kids are worn out and Wii'd out. We had 22 people, 10 of them were under 16 and 9 of those were 12 and under. It was wild!

My sister and her family are here until Saturday morning. Our kids are having a blast trying to keep up with their 8, 10, and 12 year old cousins. There is a lot of laughter, running, jumping, and squealing. Here and there we see a little outburst from my little ones to gain the attention of their cousins.

Now that Thanksgiving is over we can move into the Christmas season. Retail outlets may disagree as they keep moving the season closer and closer to Labor Day, but this is what feels right. We are going shopping tomorrow with all 7 kids (my 4 and my sister's 3). We only have 1 goal. There is one store on the agenda. Anything beyond that will be a bonus.

If you need any help getting into the Christmas mood, listen to Michael W. Smith's new album, It's A Wonderful Christmas. This album is wonderful. We will be playing this at our house when we put up Christmas decorations this year.
