Knowing Tyler's personality, he may need these for just playing. This was a Christmas gift to Austin from Aunt Anne and Uncle Chuck. It came with a helmet. He'll probably need that too!
Injury update: Thank you so much for your concerns in email and the comments here. I know several of you are praying for me and thankful that Lauren is ok. My pain level is barely even a 1 out of 10 today. It never has been too painful. I think I said a 2 at the ER; of course, I was too worried about Lauren to realize much pain. I have an orthopaedic appointment this afternoon. I'm hoping he'll leave me in a splint and tell me that I can drive.
