I've been a little slack on my blog reading lately, but this week I've been keeping up with Boomama in Uganda. She is on a trip with 14 other Christian Bloggers to Africa through Compassion. They arrived on February 10th and will return February 18th. I'm really enjoying reading about their journeys.
They have inspired us to become a sponsor. I did a search and found a little boy in Uganda who was born on Austin's birthday. His name is Muwanguzi. This year he is our special Valentine. He doesn't know it yet, but I hope by next year we will have connected through letters and a real Valentine card.
I typically post about our children on days like today. I love working on little collages of their latest adventures. Today, I hope this post will serve as a reminder to all of us to teach our children to be compassionate and to connect with others in need.

YAY!!!!! I'm so excited every time I read about someone deciding to sponsor.
I've met both my sponsored kids and there's not a doubt in my mind it's changing their lives.
Great work! It's so wonderful to hear about this kind of work in our daily lives, and in the world we live in today...lets you know just how much good actually exists in this world today! Bless you all!! :)
