Beesball

Our friend Brian was a big Georgia Tech baseball fan. On Sunday of opening weekend, his son William threw out the first pitch at the game against Youngstown State. We made plans to attend with all of the kids and made it, but not in time for the first pitch. They said he made a great effort and almost got it across the plate. I'm sure it was the highlight of his 8 years.

It was a workout for us. Ausin, John, and Lauren were pretty good and stayed in the stands close by. Tyler, aka Mr. Social, decided that he'd visit with anyone who would talk to him. He kept saying, "Mommy! I go to baseball game!" We finally figured out that he meant that he needed to be on the field. Needless to say we only made it 5 innings. Hopefully next time we'll get to stay longer. It is a great family day out though.
