I'm not sure why I always feel the need to include a picture in each post, but I do. So here is Clif playing golf on the computer while we wait for our plane to go back to Atlanta.
We have been at my sister and brother-in-law's since yesterday morning. We hopped on a plane, left the kids with our friend Frances (who we owe big time!) and headed north. Mark (my brother-in-law) was one surprized birthday boy. He had been trying to get the kids to crack and they didn't. Andrew, Josh, and Rachel...you did a good job. My sister planned a big party with about 80 people. Neighbors, family and friends celebrated his "10th" birthday as he turned 40 on 2/29.
I'll have pictures to post after I get home. We had a great time. We were able to get together with family and friends and have some Lynne and Clif time where we weren't mommy and daddy 24/7. We got to be Aunt Lynne and Uncle Clif and didn't change a diaper for over 48 hours (it's the simple things, folks).
Now we sit here missing the kids and talking about what they must be doing. We're ready to get home and see their sweet little sleeping faces. I'm sure Austin will be up if he knows we're on our way unless he just crashes from all of the excitement. I hear "Aunt" Frances is spoiling them at the park and McDonalds.
