Where does the time go?

When I look at my blog-post dates I realize just how busy we have become. When I look at my calendar and realize that twice this week I triple-booked myself I realize I've gone a little mad.

We have been having a great summer so far, though. Austin is officially on our neighborhood swim team. He didn't go to the first meet, but tomorrow night, he will swim at his first meet. How funny is that? Picture my little four year old in a crowd of cheering people as he tries to swim the length of the pool. It should be interesting. If I think about it, I might try to blog from my cell tomorrow night and post some pictures.

It really wouldn't have mattered if he was in a single meet. He is having a ball at practice. I've learned that if I was a young girl between the ages of 10 and 15 (the approximate ages of the Jr. coaches teaching him on a daily basis), he would hang on my every word and smile constantly!

Last Saturday we got to go to the Atlanta Zoo. It was especially fun because it was in the evening, it was free, and we met up with our friends who had quads 3 days before we had the triplets (and also have an older son 4 days younger than Austin). Think about that for a minute. Four adults, two 4-year olds, and seven 2.5 year olds!

The hospital where all of the kids (except Austin) were born had their annual baby alumni party. They had the zoo booked from 6:30 - 8:30. We left the house at 4 to meet our friends for a pre-zoo picnic and didn't return home until 10pm. The kids slept until 9am on Sunday. That was a first!

And for my Grandma and Grammy Poe...here are some still shots because they receive this over email. Notice my shot selection here. Grandmas don't need to see the animal shots of the zoo when their great-grandchildren are there.
