A Busy Friday

We had quite the week and our Friday seemed like a week in itself!

As the triplets get ready to turn 3 a week from today (that's a whole different post; whew) we bought a swing set. I have big dreams of this wearing them out and getting lots of good exercise over the next few years.

If you are in the Atlanta area I have to give a plug to King of Swings. They did a great job and were very reasonable.

This is the view of the fort where the installer put in 4 steering wheels. I didn't even ask. He just did it. He has 2 kids himself and knew that this would be a big bonus!

The only drawback of this type of swingset is the waiting after installation. They install it into the ground into cement and the cement has to set overnight. Do you know how long overnight is to a 4 1/2 year old and 3 - 3 year olds?

This mommy is too tired to deal with that kind of waiting. And our friends who have quads invited us to the Georgia Aquarium. This was a no-brainer. We picked the kids up early from preschool and met Barbara, her parents, and her 5 (quads + 1). It was a great day. Everyone is worn out and didn't even ask to see the swingset when we got home.

After the aquarium we went across the street to Centennial Olympic Park and played on this really neat playground and had a picnic. The kids really had a great time.

And what's a trip to downtown Atlanta without stopping at the Varsity?

See John on the left? I guess he doesn't appreciate the history and yummy goodness of the Varsity. He chose to sleep the whole way home!

I have lurked here for a while, and somehow missed that you were in Georgia! Me too! But we haven't made it to the aquarium yet...we're going for the first time in November with some friends.
Love the swing set, by the way. :o)
